Fixing laptops and guiding people on what I've learned in 20 years of doing so as regards what to choose is one of my favourite parts of the business. I don't like to see people make mistakes and end up with tools entirely unfit for the job. Equally I don't enjoy poorly built, short-lived machines that are fast-headed to the burgeoning global pile of eWaste. Today, I get to talk about how to make sure you get real value - not just economically but also in terms of the enviromnment.
